Medea Gugeshashvili, Head of the Human Rights Education Department, Wins Hubert Humphrey Fellowship Program

Medea Gugeshashvili, Head of the Human Rights Education Department of the Public Defender of Georgia, won a competition for the Hubert Humphrey Fellowship Program announced by the US Embassy in Georgia.

The Hubert Humphrey Fellowship Program is designed to help mid-career professionals develop an individual work plan, which includes lectures, seminars, professional visits, conferences, internship, etc.

During the 10-month course, professionals employed in various sectors will be able to share the US experience and best practices in planning and administering civic education, as well as state human rights education programs and projects, at all levels of education, in order to conduct their professional activities more effectively after returning to their home countries.
