On May 4, 201a8, Nino Lomjaria, the Public Defender of Georgia, met with Vakhtang Gomelauri, the Head of the State Security Service. At the first working meeting, the parties discussed the recommendations developed by the Public Defender's Office for the State Security Service.

The Public Defender got information about the main directions and priorities of the State Security Service. Nino Lomjaria and Vakhtang Gomelauri discussed the issues of cooperation and talked about future plans.

The meeting was attended by the Deputies of the Public Defender - Tamar Gvaramadze, Giorgi Burjanadze and Ekaterine Skhiladze, the Deputies of the Head of the State Security Service - Alexandre Tabatadze and Giorgi Liluashvili, as well as the Head of the Administration of the State Security Service, Nino Giorgobiani.
