The Public Defender of Georgia congratulates the Jewish people living in Georgia with the Passover Celebration and wishes them success, happiness and prosperity.

On April 3, one of the greatest festivities for the Jewish people - Passover commences. Passover is linked to celebrating liberation of the Jewish people from slavery in Egypt and attainment offreedom. During the Passover days the Jews celebrate physical and spiritual salvation coming from God; they go to temple in Jerusalem for prayers and eat flat unleavened bread Matzo.
