On the basis of information issue by media sources on May 22, 2015, the Public Defender of Georgia started examination of a case of Citizen Tch. Tch. with regards to alleged illegal actions committed towards him/her by policemen of Gurjaani.

For the purpose of studying the case, representatives of the Public Defender visited Gurjaani where they met with and acquired explanations from Citizen Tch. Tch. and members of his/her family. Circumstances of importance for the case were documented on the place.

Upon examination of the acquired evidences and received explanations the Public Defender will respond appropriately on the mentioned case.
