On December 5, 2023, within the framework of the week dedicated to the international Human Rights Day - December 10, Gvantsa Davitashvili, Head of the Department of Human Rights Education of the Public Defender’s Office, met with civic education teachers of Tbilisi public schools.

Teachers received information about the mandate of the Public Defender and the recommendations and proposals issued in the direction of human rights education; In addition, the challenges related to the human rights education process, materials and methods were discussed at the meeting.

The participants in the meeting expressed their desire for future cooperation with the Public Defender’s Office and involvement in informal education activities.
