On October 27, 2025, another case, relating to alleged violations of labour rights on discriminatory grounds, was settled between the parties by the Public Defender's Office. This is the fifth case of settlement of a dispute since the Law of Georgia on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination came into force in 2014.

It is welcome that the parties fulfilled their obligations under the settlement act. The Public Defender will continue to actively use the possibility of settlement between the parties in the future, which is an important authority granted in terms of combating discrimination and, considering the interests of the parties to the dispute, is an effective mechanism for protecting human rights.
