Public Defender Meets with Archil Tatunashvili’s Family in Tsilkani village

On March 5, 2018, Public Defender Nino Lomjaria personally offered sympathy to the family members of Archil Tatunashvili, who died in Tskhinvali, and informed them of the Public Defender’s involvement in the case.

"We have sent information to all international organizations and we are doing our best to accelerate the process of transfer of the body. At this stage, this is the primary goal of both the family and the state. It is yet difficult to say exactly how long the process will take. Getting information from the occupied region is complicated; they have made the police regime stricter. We will be involved in the case at every stage and will provide information to the public," said Nino Lomjaria.
