Public Defender of Georgia Meets with Prime Minister of Georgia
On July 29, 2024, at the meeting held in the Governmental Administration, Public Defender of Georgia Levan Ioseliani and Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze discussed the human rights situation and human rights issues in the country. The Public Defender spoke about the main directions of the Office's activities, challenges and the importance of the Government's involvement in solving the challenges.
According to the Prime Minister, the Government pays close attention to the process of considering and implementing the recommendations developed by the Public Defender, which contributes to the improvement of the standard of human rights protection in the country.
The parties also emphasized the importance of future cooperation.
