As is already known to the public, after the visits and relevant studies conducted by the Public Defender's representatives on June 27, July 11 and 16, 2025, within the framework of monitoring, the Public Defender's Office addressed the Medical Department of the Prosecutor General's Office, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Special Penitentiary Service.

On August 2, 2025, the Public Defender's representative again visited Nino Datashvili in prison No. 5. During the meeting, Nino Datashvili spoke about various issues, including her health situation and prison conditions, which in turn have a significant impact on the health condition of the accused.

In order to study and assess the issue, the Public Defender's Office additionally requested the defendant's full medical documentation, however, since this data on Nino Datashvili's health condition belongs to a special category of personal information, the Office is not making it public.

The Public Defender will continue to monitor the defendant's rights situation in order to protect her rights, including her right to health.
