Public Defender's Representatives Observe Protest Rally

Representatives of the Public Defender of Georgia continue to observe the protest rally ongoing in front of the Parliament of Georgia. In addition, they are visiting the detained citizens placed in temporary detention centers and police stations.

Representatives of the Public Defender, within the framework of their mandate, will continue to visit the detained persons and check their physical condition.

The Public Defender of Georgia will inform the public about the assessment of the events that took place during the March 7-8 protest rally in the coming days.
