On August 14, 2023, Levan Ioseliani, Public Defender of Georgia, met with Zhou Qian, Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Georgia.

At the introductory meeting, the Public Defender reviewed the general situation of human rights in Georgia and spoke about the mandate, activities and priorities of his Office.

The parties also discussed the possibilities for future cooperation.
