On March 23, 2023, Levan Ioseliani, Public Defender of Georgia, met with Riina Kaljurand, Ambassador of Estonia to Georgia.

At the introductory meeting, the parties talked about the quality of the development of democracy in Georgia and the measures being taken for the protection of human rights to achieve the goals of integration into the European Union. The Public Defender introduced the priorities and future plans of the Office to the Ambassador.

Ms. Kaljurand congratulated the Public Defender on his election to the position, wished him success and expressed her readiness for further cooperation.
