On July 11, 2015, the First Deputy Public Defender of Georgia participated in the event dedicated to the World Refugee Day held traditionally in village Duisi, Pankisi Gorge. The event was organized with the support of Kakheti Regional Development Fund. The event was attended by the representatives of diplomatic corps, UN High Commissioner for Refugees, state bodies and non-governmental organizations. The World Refugee Day was full of a variety of activities - entertainments, sport and educational events. The young participants were awarded with the memorable gifts by the First Deputy Ombudsman on behalf of the Office of Public Defender of Georgia.
