The Public Defender of Georgia has presented another information bulletin. The document reviews the activities of the Office. The major event in December was, of course, the International Human Rights Day - 10 December. The Public Defender has celebrated this day by issuing a special report for the last three years. The report summarizes the events related to the protection of human rights throughout the year, as well as the activities, plans and prospects of the Public Defender's Office.

The bulletin describes the information campaign held by the Public Defender and its employees, together with international organizations and diplomatic missions, in 9 cities of Georgia to raise the level of civic education.

In the December bulletin you will learn that the Public Defender of Georgia was elected as a full member of the Bureau of the International Coordinating Committee; the Public Defender's Office was awarded as one of the most transparent organizations in 2010-2015 for ensuring access to public information.

The bulletin provides information about the Public Defender’s meetings, statements on the country’s important events, recommendations and special reports, as well as news of the Office, results of the competitions and statistical data of citizens’ applications.
