Evaluation of Protection Mechanisms from Domestic Violence

In 2016, the Department of Gender Equality at the Office of the Public Defender of Georgia, with the support of UN Women, did the evaluation of protective mechanisms from domestic violence. Information obtained from the court decisions and orders demonstrates that improvement of mechanisms for gender equaility and protection from domestic violence should be permanent in nature. State institutions should work to ensure that the collection of relevant data is thorough and systemic in nature. It is necessary for each State entity to understand the meaning and essense of data processing.
