On August 5, 2025, Public Defender of Georgia Levan Ioseliani met with President of Georgia Mikheil Kavelashvili.

At the meeting held at the Presidential Palace, the Public Defender introduced Mikheil Kavelashvili to the mandate and priority areas of the Office, and spoke in detail about the activities of the Office. The President of Georgia emphasized the importance of the Public Defender’s institution.
