On July 3, 2023, Georgian Public Defender Levan Ioseliani met with Council of Europe Commissioner for Human Rights Dunja Mijatović

The general situation of human rights in the country, including freedom of expression and realization of the right to assembly and demonstration, importance of media freedom, safety of human rights defenders and journalists, and challenges relating to the minority rights were discussed at the meeting.

The conversation also touched upon the implementation of the 12-point plan for European integration.
