Public Defender Receives Information about Report on Implementation of 2023 Civil Integration Action Plan

Public Defender Levan Ioseliani spoke about the importance of introducing the bilingual teaching method in the education system, the need to publish native language and literature textbooks of non-Georgian schools in Georgia, and the need to make changes to the 1+4 programme at the meeting organized by the office of the State Minister for Civic Equality.

The State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality, Tea Akhvlediani, presented to the Public Defender, members of the Council of National Minorities of the Public Defender, and representatives of non-governmental organizations a report on the implementation of the 2023 Action Plan of the 2021-2030 State Strategy.

The state policy vision for civil equality and integration, goals, objectives, implementation coordination and reporting issues were discussed at the presentation.
