On July 17, 2025, Public Defender of Georgia Levan Ioseliani met with Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia Geka Geladze.

At the introductory meeting, the parties discussed the current situation in the country in terms of human rights protection and agreed to deepen cooperation between the institutions in order to improve the standard of human rights protection.

In turn, Levan Ioseliani spoke with the Minister about the main directions of the Public Defender's Office and expressed his readiness to further deepen the partnership.

The meeting was attended by the Deputies of the Public Defender, Tamar Gvaramadze, Elene Ghudushauri and Irine Chikhladze, as well as the Deputies of the Minister of Internal Affairs, Roland Meskhi, Aleksandre Darakhvelidze and Shalva Tadumadze.
